SnakeWords is designed with privacy in mind. This policy explains what data is used and how it is handled.
1. Data we collect
SnakeWords does not collect personal information such as name, email, or contacts.
However, the app may process the following gameplay data:
- game progress (% completion)
- scores and points
- guess history (correct/incorrect)
- performance metrics (accuracy, speed, confidence
- multiplayer session data (player comparisons)
2. How data is used
This data is used only to:
- enable gameplay functionality
- provide multiplayer comparison features
- calculate scores and statistics
- display in-game performance information
3. Data storage
Gameplay data may be:
- stored locally on your device
- temporarily processed during multiplayer sessions
We do not sell or share data with third parties.
4. No ads, no trackers
SnakeWords contains:
- no advertising
- no analytics trackers
- no third-party behavioural tracking systems
- no spyware or background data harvesting
5. Third-party services
If you use donation links (e.g. Ko-fi / PayPal / Stripe), those services operate under their own privacy policies.
SnakeWords does not control or process payment data.
6. Data deletion
Since we do not maintain user accounts or personal identifiers, there is no central user database to delete.
Uninstalling the app removes local data.
7. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if features change. Updates will be posted within the app or store listing.
